Winter Dawn….

There was a frost brewing late last night as we all went off to bed. However clouds moved in and swept away any of the white evidence of frost this morning. But it was still very cold and raw when I walked before dawn. This view is looking upstream from near the Beaver Road footbridge. I left Ruby at home because Hannah, Alex and friend Dominic took her out walking later in the morning. Dominic’s Springer Spaniel joined in too. A very pretty dog called Milly. They went for a very long walk even taking time for coffee at the Raupo Cafe. I was busy at home. I also took four half-full wool sacks of garden waste in my vehicle to the green waste centre. I side tracked to the Recycling Shop and bought some bathroom towel, very suitable as dog towels. A bargain thanks to shop helper Bridget.
