A Yellow Petunia.

The Feast Day of Saint Columba of Iona.

A Feast Day dedicated to Mary, Mother of the Church.

Born in Donegal, Ireland 7th December 521. Died in Iona, Scotland 9th June 597.

Patron saint of poets, bookbinders, relief from floods.

The weather is sunny and windy. Rain is forecast but none so far.

I did housework and washing. Then I walked to the Co op to put a few items in the Parish Church foodbank crate. I could not resist buying a couple of bedding plants. A yellow thirsty looking Bidens and a beautiful yellow Petunia. I brought them home and re potted and watered them.

I might have another walk this afternoon after Escape to the Country.
In the evening I went to our Parish Church for an evening Mass.
By the end of this week the bell towercwill have been completely re pointed. It cost nearly £13,000 and the parishioners did various events and fund raising to generate the money.

Have a lovely Monday and thank you for visiting my site today blip friends.
