Black elder

There are lots of these black elder shrubs flowering in this area this year. They seem to be gaining in popularity, and no wonder, as they're quite striking.

MrM took the van into the garage again this morning, this time to have the air conditioning fixed. They promised that it would be ready this evening, but it wasn't. This is beginning to seem like déjà vu. Hopefully it will be ready tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath!
