The kitchen is very much an Edwardian Kitchen and has equipment that many have never seen.

Today’s photograph is of an essential piece of equipment completely unrecognisable to many of our visitors.

It is a knife sharpener. The extra shows a view of the kitchen with the knife sharpener located at the hatch next to the window.

Of course this kitchen is no longer in everyday use.

The house is available for many functions where is served. A modern catering kitchen has been installed in what the ‘scullery’ of the original house.
