Trucking Hell

Late morning we travelled to Vathi (capital) Ithaca (Ionian Islands, Greece) to take the mountain road to Caminia Beach that was recommended. It had a mile long winding newly concreted road down to it. A very lovely cove, it was a bit commercialised for us with a taverna and music. We did stay an hour for coffee but travelled back into Vathi and spent a couple of hours on Loutsa Beach.

On the way back down the mountain road to Vathi we passed two trucks that now seem to be derelict as you can see from the main and extra. So typically Greek.

We got back to our villa about 5pm and enjoyed a couple of hours around our pool. We'll have home made salad before popping out for a drink at the local village of Stavros.
