Iris

Great to see our first iris bloom with many more about to open. Normally the poppies, peonies and iris don’t open at the same time but all should make their grand entrances this week! • Soon we’re leaving to pick up a prescription for MrsP then we’ll stop at the river for awhile before heading home • Ducky is curled up sleeping in one of the dining room chairs, a favorite spot. He’s not eating much although shows interest, is still drinking and engaged with us, continuing to prove how strong he is, and stubborn. We hope he’ll be ready to say goodbye this week because the tumor on his face is uncomfortable and causing breathing and drooling issues. It’s hard seeing our sweet boy this way • A busy week of doctor’s appointments ahead. MrsP isn’t impressed • Peace & Love
