The ex-display discount sofa arrived as scheduled, but the box also appeared to be an ex-display box, though the secondary layer of cardboard inside appears to have protected it. The delivery people claimed (correctly, though I had not previously been told) that they were only booked for a hallway service rather than room-of-choice, but then incorrectly tried to argue that the box was too big to get through the door and that they would have the leave the box outside in the light rain.
