Garden work and a choir concert
The main physical activity for me today was digging over half the potato patch and planting 3 rows of potatoes. Tomorrow I'll probably fit two more rows in, and that could be the planting over for this year! Still plenty of other garden jobs to do though.
The alarm on my phone told me it was time to stop gardening as we were headed into town again for a cathedral choir concert.
Unfortunately it turned out to be a concert of Swedish romantic melodic songs about the joys of nature in spring and summer. It was very well organised and sung, so no complaints about the choir, musicians and choir leader. And a couple of the pieces were lovely, making it worth the visit to town. But mostly it just wasn't our sort of music! I like a bit more drama in my music.
Back home a deep tiredness descending on me so no more gardening. We sat outside in the sun enjoying the flowers, the blue sky, and the bird song.
Tomorrow morning our bins gets emptied and I have to move them 5 metres from their stand to the edge of the road. No problems there and I took the main blip photo on the way back. It shows the meadow between the tennis courts and our drive way. The meadow is filled with flowers, blues, purples, whites and yellows abound.
We really do live in a nice place!
