Ekaterina

This lovely statue was erected on Capstone Hill in memory of a young lady who fell to her death off the cliff.......
Terrifo and I were in Ilfracombe to see BlackTulip and her hubby JJ. We enjoyed a cuppa and a chinwag before I suggested going to see Ekaterina!  The walk up the hill was steep and windy but after all the walking I'd done over the past week, I thought I'd carry on the tradition of pushing myself...The way down was steep but, sensibly, we took the longer route to the harbour area where we went on to see Verity (extra).  Neither Ann nor Terri like her but she is well known to be a 'marmite' figure!. 
Amazingly Ilfracombe was quiet - whether because of the weather or just early in the season I know not.
A lovely couple of hours with a fellow blipper.
