Bricks and Stones and Mending Bones

I noticed this lovely bit of church wall on my way back from a Doctor’s appointment this morning. Over the last ten years I’ve periodically suffered from Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome, a pain in the hip most noticeable during and after walks. It has really flared-up recently, causing me to hobble about. Today I had a steroid injection into the area, which will hopefully, over the next few weeks, ease the inflammation and pain. Fingers crossed!
