Work In Progress

We've had an enjoyable and educational camera club outing to Frampton Mansell this evening, somewhere most of us had never visited before.

There weren't many photographic opportunities though - unfortunately the most photogenic bit, the church, was covered in scaffolding.  Oh well, we need to go back when whatever they are doing is finished.

In other news I am enjoying rereading The Chill by Ross Macdonald, which I found in the box of old books in the garage a few weeks ago. The others have gone to the charity shop. It's a classic American private eye story (Lew Archer), with some great metaphorical lines. We found him, a thin spry man wearing a heavy camera like an albatross around his neck. There were a few of us like that this evening. Maybe not thin and spry though. Frampton Mansell is pretty hilly, but hey it's the Cotswolds.

The Three Wise Men?
Not many tramps in Frampton Mansell, it's a bit too upmarket for that.
