Rhododendron season

Lots of rhododendrons and azaleas are blooming now. I planted these ones in 2009 when the house was built. I originally planted 3 of them, but had to remove one when we had to make the garden narrower. The next door neighbor b**** at the time was getting upset because we had to walk on her grass while we were working on that side of the house. Six years ago I had to remove some plants so we could put a row of patio stones along the edge. The last time she got upset with us, my passive aggressive side came out. Some of her grass was growing between the patio stones, so I pulled it out and left it on her sidewalk. Strangely enough she has not bothered us since then. This same woman was upset when I had some beach stone dumped on her empty lot, months before her house was built. It was easier for us to wheelbarrow the beach stone across part of an empty lot instead of taking it down a hill. Then she copied my idea of putting beach stone in  a drainage ditch that runs along the back of several properties on the street.

Showers in the forecast for later tomorrow, but the rest of the week looks like it will be dry.

I added an extra of a swallowtail butterfly on an azalea. Eden was close to where it landed so she got a couple of photos with her iphone. It seems the only way I could convert them to jpeg was to make a collage.
