Hauling sticks

Hubby went to visit a friend early this morning. I stayed home and picked crabs. Now the first 5 crab cakes are in the freezer. When he got home we fished the pots again. Those crabs are in the holding pot until Wednesday when we fish the pots again. We do not catch many crabs in the creek this time of year. Both osprey were on the nest  when we went outside early this AM. They have been busy hauling sticks and grass all day. We did a little repair on the ends (see extra) since the storm blew the whole nest away. I hope our activity did not disturb them  but failure was a guarantee with out a little repair work. Being on a ladder in a marsh full of muskrat leads was dicey but we got it done. We worked in the yard the rest of the day. It's been another good one.
