The birds

An egret wading in the mud alongside a group of mallards.

Black headed gulls diving from a great height.

A cat peeking out from the long grass as a muntjac dips into it.

Cygnets trying to climb up from the lake and  onto the bank.

Many, many geese crossing in front of me.

What a lovely walk.

The firepit gets moved here when there us an event.  There were lots of complaints online about the event yesterday. It seems that it was very loud until the early hours.  I did not hear it
