Had a wonderful day hiking in the Pfalz. The weather was perfect and the parking lots very full but as soon as you stepped away from the short hikes, you had everything to yourself.
The mountain in the distance is Rehberg - or as I like to call it: Mount Bambi. In case you ever hear the name in geology, this is actually the area it’s been named after. At least that’s what my mum learned at university and keeps telling me about whenever we are in that area.
