Manesty Woods

Overcast conditions often give the best light for photographing woodland - as lots of direct sunlight can cause too great extremes of contrast. However, a few gaps in the cloud can give a few highlights to add a little depth to the photograph. 

I spend a happy couple of hours in the woods at Manesty, waiting for those touches of sunlight to give the effect I was looking for.
