Preparations

Today my two uncles (mum's older brothers) came to eat at mum's. They now come every other Friday and get a lift from a friend rather than drive and take the bus. After the traditional game of Scrabble, my sister and I went to our hairdressing appointment, then dropped by my other sister's on the way back, to help with the preparations for Melanie's 40th birthday party. There will be about 75 people including many wheelchairs, so the layout has to be well thought-out. We stayed there for our evening meal, which allowed Lucie and mum to have some time together.
