Unhelpful but exciting

A ladybird larva has decided to become a ladybird... on my car windscreen. So now I can't clean the windscreen because I don't want to hurt the little thing. But it's so exciting seeing this stage of an evolution process I've never watched before!

Work was HARD today. But a few moments of solace in nature (watching young grebes being fed on my lunch break) and a lot of hard work on staying positive saved it from disaster. However exhausting it is, sometimes being happy for other people is what helps you stay happy yourself.
