W Hotel
Sometimes known as the walnut whip, or something less polite. This is the view from the far side of St Andrew Square, with Dundas House in front, currently offices for the Royal Bank. Henry Dundas, who has a monument in his honour in the form of the Melville monument in the middle of St Andrew Square, is a controversial figure as he delayed the abolition of slavery.
Blipped after lunch at the Portrait Gallery with LM.
