At Rest

Today was the funeral of Julies Mum over in Metheringham where Julie Mum and Dad both use to live. Julies Dad died in October 2023 and her Mum has been in a care home for quite  a few years suffering from  severe dementia . They are now both buried together in the same plot in this cemetery .
e service went fairly well in the end despite some confusion where the vicar thought we was suppling music for the Hymns as well as the entry music were as  we only had the entry music like we did for her Dads  funeral with the same vicar . Thankfully the funeral company organiser came to the rescue  and found the hymns on her phone to be played.
Afterwards  driven back to Lincoln in the limo where we wen for some food and drink in a pub in town with Julie and the kids. No wake in Metheringham as there was only 9 at the service as she had outlived her village friends 
A relaxed evening is now planed will watch a film with Grace and Julie later
