Chester’s Roman walls

We had no commitments today, so after doing some jobs in the morning, we set out for Chester to walk the city walls. The walk took us about an hour and we had great views over the racecourse and the River Dee. On our way back, we called in for a cup of tea with Mrs TT‘s best school friend who she had not seen for about 20 years. There were plenty of reminiscences as you might expect. In between all these activities, I was phoning windscreen fitters for a chip repair. This is involved getting quotes and sending them to the insurers in France. Finally, I got the go-ahead and have arranged an appointment tomorrow to have the repair done on the drive.
