Bayes

Today I slept in until 09:30, so the need for breakfast, Django's walk and a shower meant that there was no chance of being in the centre of Edinburgh for 12:00. This was the start of the lunch break for someone I'd suggest I might see, so I relaxed and did a bit of work before going in.

At the Bayes Centre I had lunch, then useful chats with my PhD students, B and Y. I've not seen B in weeks but, as expected, he's been sensibly learning a lot in calls with one of our developers. Before Y arrived I booked coffee and tea catering for the Workshop. Y had also been working well, and was excited about having just moved into her new flat. 

Afterwards, I got stuck into some further Workshop admin, before realising that it was now too late to see the person whose presence in Edinburgh had been my reason for coming into the centre! Still, it was also good to have been there to take some photos to enhance the Workshop website, including one of the venue that we'll be using (see extra). It's a fine place, and hopefully its front door will be working by the time of the Workshop!

On my way home I collected more from Mum's flat, that will be delivered to the storage unit tomorrow.
