Beautiful afternoon for a wander past this floral display at the railway turntable.

A good meeting with our excellent MND specialist nurse. She described Richard as unique in having two challenging conditions! However his years of keeping fit mean at the moment his oxygen levels are good. She is the lynchpin linking all the specialists that Richard will need. So lots more appointments on the horizon but all necessary to keep him fighting the disease as long as possible. However a drug that may have slowed the progression cannot be prescribed due to dialysis. Given the recent diagnosis his remains positive and keen to fight on as long as possible. It was good to have Thomas here to listen and ask questions. He left this afternoon to watch England play Senegal so back to just the two of us.
