50++ years ago….

We’ve met some of these children today. Grown ups now of course. It’s taken at Little Sis’s birthday party. She’s on the left wearing a party dress I loved and she inherited as a hand-me-down. Definitely in our garden by our swing. And all can be identified because they haven’t changed much facially!

We’ve been at a thanksgiving service for Ben a close friend of my dear late dad. His wife who died five years ago was a wonderful friend of mum. We grew up in the same church and with their three sons. Lots of time spent together. Another day of very happy memories.

Big Sis and I aren’t in this photo. I remember it being taken but obviously it of the Birthday Girl and her guests. Valerie is here in though… just 17 months younger than me, she fitted the age group. And one of Ben’s sons’ is here too and has asked that I send this photo to him.
