That time

The coldest day so far this winter. The car gave out an ice alert on my way to the office and started at 8 degrees on my way home, only to go down to 5 by the time I reached there.

Our outing with the pooches was a quiet one, as we were the only folk on the paths.It was good to get into the truck and put the heated seats on.

It was also good to get home, close the door, and light the fire.

A soup and crusty bread supper finished our day.
