Batty?

I was at Castle Espie again this morning and on my way in I saw John, the learning manager and another member of staff looking a bit concerned. When I went to see what they were doing I saw that they had this tiny bat! Bats roost in the building and are a protected species. This baby bat had managed to escape the roost and John and the other staff were trying to return it to the roost. I was fascinated, I think it's really cute! I do like bats. They were successful in returning it to the roost - hopefully it won't make another bid for freedom! 
It was a beautiful morning and the class I was working with were great - one little lad told me to be careful and not do anything dangerous!!
