Au Revoir

Yesterday we said farewell to our Hong Kong teen.
He’s been with us for a week over half term and has returned to school for his final few weeks of A level exams.
As he’s about to leave his schooldays behind, we will no longer need to be his holiday guardians which we’ve been for the last 4 years.
All being well he’s heading off to university in Chicago in September.
He left us this card - he wrote such a lovely note inside.
He left us this box of posh tea from Fortnum & Mason too.
Not sure when we’ll see him again.
It was weird saying goodbye after all these years.
