Cake Extravaganza 2

People came along to the village hall this afternoon to sample home-made cakes and enjoy a cup of tea with friends! After sampling, they were able to bid for one or more of the cakes on offer - this is why we had to make 2 of each!
It was a very jolly tea time, and there were 15 different cakes to sample.
This one was my favourite - made by the President of our W.I. no less - and certainly looked wonderful.
It is a carrot cake, so of course very healthy full of delicious natural ingredients.
A great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon!
