Swans

Fetched pens and milk first thing. Lunchtime meeting on a project moving to the next stage. 

Afternoon walk to Inverleith; swans guarding the entry to the section of the reeds where the cygnet was grooming itself, 2m from them but not in direct line of sight. There were mallard ducklings in the main pond; then more under the Falshaw bridge. The Rocheid path was muddy; there were more small fry in the Water of Leith, and a watching heron ..
