Up On The Roof...

Fletch and I often see this Red-shouldered hawk in the front yard of a house we pass each morning during our walks. The yard is deep in shade that early and although I've taken many photos of the large bird, most get deleted. But this one had potential. The hawk flew down to grab something on the ground, consumed it and then returned to the edge of the roof. There, in just a bit of early sunlight, she posed for my camera.  m
