.”.....Is that Mother (Goose)?”

It looks like the Greylag goose is watching out for the cygnets but in fact mum is just trying to ignore her brood of eight young ones (1st extra). 
We had both Tomos and Dylan today. After dropping off Dylan in Cylch we headed, with Tomos, to Roath Park on a lovely warm sunny day. There were lots of young birds on the lake: Coote chicks, goslings as well as the cygnets. The solitary Egret (2nd extra) was hunting breakfast. The 3rd extra is the rippled reflection of the Scott lighthouse.
