Rust

After a relaxed start to the day, Mum and I took a walk along the river bank, taking the long route tonthe footpath since Titanic Bridge is still closed, despite  calls to reopen it for pedestrians. It was very hot whilst we were out too!

I couldn't decide which picture to use for my blip today, so I've added them all to this Flickr album. I decided to go with this shot of some trolleys, chairs, and stuff that had been fished out of the river. 

I drove back to Leeds a while after we got back. Took longer than usual as it was rush hour, and there was an accident on the M62. Not on our side, but of course, everyone has to slow down and gawk at the scene, causing congestion going both ways...
I was confused at first as well as further back towards the Humber, our side was really congested, and there was not a single car on the other side for a whilsle, and I didn't yet know what had happened.

Back home, absolutely sweating from the heat and my cars lack of decent aircon, and now rrady for the pub quiz!
