One More Step Along the Way

Up promptly this morning and immediately into de-cluttering mode (though only to the extent of hiding stuff in cupboards). At 11 am the estate agent arrived to give us a going-over prior to her writing the text that will appear on the entry when we eventually get to the market. She was very pleasant, and a little taken aback at the size and state of the garden. Luckily the sun shone and we managed to get up the zig-zag and down the straight path without the use of a machete. Everything seems to be flourishing in spite, or perhaps because of, the neglect. I went back later and took some pictures.

Now we have a lull, till Monday when a photographer is coming - with a drone. I'm quite excited about that! And by then I may have found most of the stuff I hastily hid this morning - only to have to hide it again to give the impression ( which seems to mandatory when selling) that our home is a temple to minimalism (which it isn't, thank goodness).
