Ceanothus and bees

We stood as a number of bees flitted from flower to flower on a warm summers day.

Today we met the new addition to Johns family, a lovely little fellow who could make funny noises in his throat, he thought this was funny, we all did.

Earlier a visit to catch up with K and P, they have recently returned from a six week visit to Ghana, P’s home country and loved time there with her family and grandchildren. It was good to hear about their travels. 

We are both ready to go home, the cats are calling.  It was lovely to meet S today and to see his mum looking well and happy, we had a good three weeks away meeting up with friends and family along the way,
