Carol's ramblings

Spirea

I have lived in my house for nearly 26 years, this spirea bush was here when we purchased the house.  I have cut it back quite a bit but every year it produces little pink flowers.  It is mainly ignore, but manages to thrive - quite a hardy plant.  The photo looks like there are little jewels on the ends of the little tendrils?

Domesticity mainly on the cards today.  I started off by finishing my book in bed - Ruth Jones’ new book.  Once breakfasted and dressed, started some chores around the house.  Sadly not accompanied by Ken Bruce as he was stuck in a train!  Then our daughter turned up, stayed for lunch and a chat, then off to get the boys from school - taking with her some belongs that have been “stored” at our house.

Finished the evening with crocheting whilst watching the final of Race Across The World - no spoilers, good finish.

Tried to get a photo of the strawberry moon but no luck.
