Ben Cruachan
As the forecast was for a dry day we decided to go to Dalmally and climb a couple of Grahams, Meall nan Gabhar and Beinn Bhalgairean. As there is a good forestry track we took bikes and cycled up; it was hard work, 4.8 km and 355 m of climb in an hour. However, on the way back it took 15 minutes so well worth the effort. The hills were much better than we had read about and the views were great in warm sun; the wind helped in keeping us cool. The blip is the view of Ben Cruachan and Beinn a’ Chochuill and Beinn Eunaich from Beinn Bhalgairean. The extra is a Mountain Ringlet; we saw lots but they seem reluctant to stay still.
Best on black.
