Brunetti brunch

I had a slow start this morning, not needing to check Marketplace, not needing to look for an apartment in Athens, just chilling. A bit overwhelmed with the last few weeks!
Made my way into the city centre to meet S - a good friend and former colleague. We met at Brunetti and just stayed there for 2.5 hours. So nice to see her. It’s not always possible to see everyone every visit.
I then headed to Carlton to the other Brunetti and met A - another good friend. A lovely chat. Then back to the airport hotel to rest and sort my bag for the next leg tomorrow, departing 5am. Why did I think that time was a good idea!!
Lots of discussions about ageing and how to live well through this process - we must be getting older!
I planned this visit for Dad’s birthday, so I’m pleased it coincided (unknowingly at the time) with his move. And got to see friends too. A job well done.
