Langelandster Windmill

A day with 2 faces.

Exactly one year ago my mother passed away, and during the past days that's been on my mind a lot. Remembering everything we went through those weeks in 2024 leading up to June 11th. What a sad period.

But a whole year has gone by and this date didn't stop me from meeting and having dinner with Ron and Herman. We met in Groningen at Shufu Cuisine, a tablet restaurant where you constantly order small dishes. Max 3 per round.
We talked about a lot of things, and also set up a framework of a new autumnal trip to the UK. We picked the region Northtumberland and agreed we will fill in the details after the summerholidays.
After dinner we took our cameras and went to the Langelandster windmill nearby. We stayed here until the sun was gone. I stopped after a few shots because I didn't feel it. The light wasn't great and I didn't see any award winning compositions. Instead I kept bothering Ron while he was flying his drone around
