Musing of a Lady

Figuring Out The Best Way Forwards

Little Man had nursery today, and was really enjoyed it. Whilst he was there, a lady from the specialist centre in Gouda came by to observe him. She was there for about an hour. She phoned me this afternoon after I'd collected him to bring me up to speed with her observations. She is going to talk to a few of her colleagues and a pediatrician who works at the same centre she does. They're going to work through Little Man's documents and make an assessment on how best to help him, going forwards. I'm not sure how long this is going to take or what's going to be involved, but no more than a few weeks (hopefully). We have some big decisions to make in regards to supporting Little Man during the months and years to come.

We also had Timann come round for a drink, not long after we got home from nursery. We had a lovely chat. She's a good friend and has been a great help with Little Man. Little Man and I have had a relaxing afternoon after Timann left, beyond the calls from the specialist centre. My mind is very full and I'm going to spend some time writing in my journal once Little Man is in bed.

Today has been lovely and hot. It went up to 27⁰C (80.6⁰) this afternoon so I was able to hang the laundry out outside, which dried within a few hours. I'm glad as it meant that I didn't need to use the tumble dryer (and thus save on my electricity bill).
