Thursday: Where are we today?

Think the answer is rather obvious when you read the sign … :-))

I needed to go to Beaumaris to pick a cheque up, MrD decided to drive us there. We had a wander around town, coffee and gluten free carrot cake at The Bulkeley, my nephew’s cafe wasn’t open. Last stop was at my friend’s garden where I bought a beautiful plant which might be tomorrow’s Blip …

Onwards down the coast road to Menai Bridge town … long-story-short, I have an appointment next week with someone who might sort out my ankles problem …

Finally to Waitrose for some groceries, then home for lunch .

Started clearing the steps up to the top garden, with a view to getting rid of all the very prickly Mahonia leaves - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2771827135969496027 - I’d just started when a few drops of rain started to fall, some thunder then torrential rain - 2 hours later and the rain is still torrential, but will be very useful to fill the rivers and reservoirs (there speaks the ex-Water Board employee!).

A couple more episodes of “Monarch of the Glen” this evening, Series 2 :-))
