Lodger

I worked this morning (preparing my presentation for tomorrow), but really needed to rest, so took the afternoon off sick again. Had a super restful afternoon - including a sit out in the front garden with a Lemsip. Tim pointed out a hole in our fence post, which he'd seen a bee go into. I staked it out for a while, then saw a little fluffy head appear, excavating a load of sawdust - and eventually it came out and flew off. Such an industrious little creature!

Had a lovely soak in the bath in the evening - accompanied by a medicinal glass of wine that Tim brought in to me.
