Castle Rock

We recently bought ourselves an inflatable stiff-walled Kayak (effectively as rigid as a paddleboard) as our existing kayak is just too heavy to keep lifting onto the car roof. Spent the morning kayaking over Derwentwater - until the wind got up (extra). This afternoon we went walking. 

Though it doesn't count as a "Wainwright", Castle Rock is a "Birkett" that we've driven past hundreds of times, today we thought it might be an idea to explore it. It's certainly more of a scramble than a walk, but the views from the top were pretty impressive, given it's modest height.
