Siberian iris
This is a new Siberian iris I bought during my Annapolis Royal trip. I am going to keep it for myself. I may need to see if I can get more so I can use some in various gardens.
The extra shows the work we did this morning. 7 people, 2 hours, 15 yards of soil. I had it dumped close to where we would be working. But I still did not expect it to be done in 2 hours.
We also did a couple of hours work next door, preparing for a new septic field installation and a tiny home being installed. One large garden containing about 35 hostas and a few other plants needs to be removed while the work is being done, then it will be replanted.
A potluck picnic tonight at Sullivan's Pond here in Dartmouth with the travel/social group. Between 25 and 30 people attended. On the way home tonight I stopped at my backyard neighbor's place, she needs some help with her garden, which she is undergoing chemo. All I have to do tomorrow night is grocery shopping. So far, I have Wednesday evening free next week.
