He's Back!

Methinks this little devil has discovered his favourite breakfast café. There he was again this morning..same time, same place, and up to the same old tricks (extra) 

In comparison to discovering that that raccoon visit the other day was not a one-time thing, the other most concerning event of the day was my hearing test. 

It was not a big surprise that I needed hearing aids, but the cost sure was! Who knew? Wow. At least it is good investment; I am sure it will improve the quality of my life, if even for just putting an end to the constant comments from my daughter that perhaps I have a hearing problem? :)) 

I have known for quite some time that I do...have a hearing problem that is. An obvious clue was having to use subtitles on movies and TV series from the UK;  I always thought it was just the accent that was causing me to miss important dialogue, but when the subtitles referred to "a barking dog in the background" and I had not heard said dog barking, I figured it was perhaps more than an accent issue? 

I assume it will be money well spent. I will find out a couple of weeks from now when these expensive little accessories arrive. I am anxious now to know just what I have been missing!
