The case is closed …
…. until next time.
One of the (many) things I love about Blip is the vast resource of information, tips and so on, that other Blippers have amassed - and shared - over the years. I got the idea of visiting the Musee d’Orsay from seeing what others had posted from their visits.
I will try and get round to thanking you all for your comments and hearts. Right now, we’re both a bit zonked out. Anniemay walked far more than we had expected her to. Which was a good thing. I’m really proud of her - she didn’t complain once. In fact I was the one lagging behind when it got really hot.
We’ve both come home to a mountain of jobs that need doing - some physical, but most require sitting for hours at a computer screen. Actually talking face to face with someone seems to be a thing of the past. Perhaps we’ll eventually evolve and lose the power of speech.
For those who might be interested, I’ve discover that the dance routine I mentioned in our visit to the David Hockney exhibition is called A bigger space for dancing and was made in 2012 and choreographed by Wayne Sleep.
Thanks again for taking the trip with us.
PS; for train buffs. We caught a new train from Euston to Milton Keynes, yesterday. Orange livery, wide aisles and lots of seating - and space for bikes. Even had a bike logo on the doors. Thought I was in Amsterdam for a moment.
