The extra is a Woodland Giant Wolf Spider. Don't look if you find spiders too much to handle. She's a mother - carrying a gazillion spiderlings on her back. Wikipedia says the body length can be up to an inch. So that's not counting the legs. This one was big! She was crossing the dirt road when we were on our walk this morning.
