Arran: Day 7

This is not CalMac’s Caley Isles. Texts and emails last night informed us that the planned crossing (the second trip for the newly repaired ferry) was in fact cancelled - more repairs needed. Thankfully, another set of messages an hour later told us our rearranged trip was just 20-minutes later than planned, on the MV Alfred going to Troon instead of Ardrossan.

The crossing was a bit choppier this time, and with no cafe it was a bit less comfortable, but it was on time and we made it back to the mainland. Lunch in Kilmarnock on the way home this afternoon.
