Peonies from Lynne

Mr C got his scan and has a small clot but not on the main artery in his leg. He’d been told to ring the GP who said not to worry. However his blood tests show he is a bit anaemic so more tests to find out why and in the meantime take iron tablets.

I prepared the spinach and mushroom lasagne for tonight and the dressing for the potatoes then read my book.

Ella sent photos her friend’s dad took of them at the Sam Fender concert last night. #3 daughter had forgotten to unblock Ella’s phone so couldn’t take any. (It gets automatically turned off at 9pm).

I was going to go down to the rose garden for a blip but discovered I can’t do it without a stick. Omg.

It’s been a lovely sunny day. We had a good catch up with Lynne and Gavin who came at 6 as they are early risers so need to be in bed by 10. They really enjoyed the food and brought me these lovely peonies which I love but they don’t like it here so it was a very thoughtful present.
