At Zizzi

I didn't see Neil on my birthday as Rachael's sister and nephew were visiting last weekend.   And he's had a busy week including a trip to London. He went to Lords to watch the ICC World Test Championship - South Africa V Australia. He got home late last night.  But he was free today and he invited me to go for a belated birthday meal.

We agreed to meet in the Metrocentre and I had "earmarked " a bus to get me there in good time.  Checked the bus app to find this bus was cancelled.  Next one was in 20 mins. So I just pottered around wasting time.  Checked the app before leaving the house to find this bus was also cancelled.  Another 20 mins to wait.  Messaged Neil so he could delay his arrival at the Metrocentre.  Fortunately the next bus came on time.

We decided to go to Zizzi ( I had an e mail from them with a voucher for a free main course for my birthday ) I chose salmon with salad.  Neil had chicken and prosciutto salad plus a hanging skewer of king prawns.  Neil took a selfie of us before we had a wander round the Metrocentre doing a bit of shopping.  See Extra. We went to Primark and Marks and Spencers before getting our buses home.
