We headed over to Birnam this evening to see (and hear) Josie Duncan.  She has a lovely voice and engaging manner and treated us to an interesting mix of traditional songs, her own songs, one by Brian Wilson and another by Nirvana (on her clarsach which was a first for me). 

The sky was lovely on the way back - lovely shades of blue and tinges of pink. My phone has been pinging all day with aurora alerts but the chances of seeing it as we approach the longest day are nil, me thinks.
